The "CROSS-BAR" mounts up high with mounting brackets that prevent the bar from rotating and transfer the strength of the bar into the framework of the car. The bar is high enough to make sure that bracket flexing is not an issue, but low enough to keep a clear view in the rear mirror. It will not rotate due to the bracket design, but there is second pair of brackets included for events that require two anchor points to prevent rotation. There are no modifications made to your car, and the "Cross-bar" can be removed in approximately 15 minutes. Also included with each bar is a center mounted camera mount that attaches to the bottom side of the bar.

The "CROSS-BAR" is made from 1-1/2" square medium weight tubing and weighs approximately 14 lbs with brackets and hardware.

The unique mounting brackets also place the bar in a position so that the extra tall drivers may move their seats back to a comfortable driving position.

The camera mount attaches to the bottom of the bar with two bolts for easy removal after the races. The mount positions the camera for eye level movies.

C4 convertibles have a unique bar design all of their own. The primary mounting point being the shoulder harness mounting point. The anchor bolts that hold your factory belts in place are replaced with specially machined bolts that hold the factory belts and the Cross-bar in place. The end result being a very ridged mounting system for your 5-point harness belts. Like the coupe, the camera mount positions the camera at eye level and is removable.
